   Experience
   About Me

Google

Position:
UX Design Intern

Project:
NDA (Features for Google Home App)

Tools Used:
Figma, Adobe XD, Adobe Photoshop

Learn More

Worked at the Google Home App team, focusing on smart home integration and user experience in Seoul, South Korea.

All of my work is under an NDA. Please reach out to me if you have any questions regarding my work.

My Impact

1. User Research and Competitive Analysis

2. Designed and Prototyped User Interfaces

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Conducted in-depth research on user complaints and pain points, and analyzed competitive products to identify and implement effective solutions to enhance user experience.

Created comprehensive user interfaces and interactive prototypes for the Google Home App, ensuring timely delivery of projects using Figma and Adobe XD.

Worked closely with engineers, UX researchers, and product managers to develop and refine product features, ensuring alignment with user needs and business goals.

What I Learned

1. Always Communicate

2. Managing Projects by Setting Priorities

3. Bring Visuals to Share Idea

I’ ve learned not to be embarrassed if I'm unsure about something. Instead of struggling to find solutions on my own, asking for help is far more efficient, even if it feels uncomfortable. I've realized that no one will know I need assistance unless I reach out.

Using OKRs (Objectives and Key Results), I learned to prioritize tasks effectively by aligning them with project timelines, user priorities, and business needs.

Working with engineers, UX researchers, and product managers is very different from collaborating solely with designers. I learned that using visuals and graphs to convey my ideas is more effective and impactful than verbal explanations.
